Ultrasound Diagnostics for Pets
Ultrasound is a noninvasive diagnostic tool that allows our veterinarians to visualize the internal organs such as the liver, spleen, and kidneys. We use ultrasound to diagnose a variety of conditions and locate tumors, cysts, stones, and complications within your pet’s internal system. Ultrasound is also commonly used during pregnancies to visualize the fetal heartbeats of your pet’s puppies or kittens to ensure proper development.
We have the ability to perform diagnostic ultrasounds right here at Randhurst Animal Hospital. Imaging4Pets, a mobile ultrasound veterinary support team, is able to come to the clinic to perform any diagnostic ultrasound as needed. The results can be interpreted by a radiologist within hours to get your pet the appropriate medical attention they deserve.
